Homeopathy, Elements and the Zodiac

There are many homeopathic remedies and they come from all kind of sources. I will focus on the minerals because I see the elements from the periodic table as a reflection of the human development.

After reading Scholten’s book ‘Homeopathy and the elements’ I got fascinated by the periodic table and its similarity with the zodiac.

The series are reflected by the earth-signs (carbonseries, ironseries, goldseries) and the air-signs (siliciumseries, silverseries, uraniumseries).

And then there are the hidden series of the lanthanides and the actinides. The lanthanides are perfectly similar to scorpio and the actinides to pisces, both water-signs (combined with the air-sign gemini).

The hardest part was the water-sign cancer. It should come before leo, which was perfect for Sulphur. But the element before Sulphur is Phosphorus, which was not a good resemblance for it.

Then I thought that the development of an individual might not be straightforward in the transition from one stage of life into another one.

In puberty there is the urge to become an individual, but at the same time there has to be dealt with the emotions from the past. In homeopathy this is reflected by Chlorine (primordial soul), which together with Sulphur (individual spirit), is the potential of becoming independent.

Now all three water-signs had their place, and also one of the fire-signs. Another one, aries, was perfect for the hydrogenseries. But sagittarius was more difficult.

It took me a whole lot of thinking, reading and trying, to come to see it as similar to a part of the silverseries. By the time I get to those remedies I will go into that further.

Besides that, the series each have their own development and the follow-up of the signs is again seen in the stages.

Another reason for using the astrological signs is each complement.

This is differerent from the polarity of each sign. The complement is seen in the opposite sign in the zodiac.

Start: Hydrogen
